Les Saisons Russes du XXIe siècle
Homage to the Ballets Russes at the Theâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris (March 4-7, 2010), organized by the Maris Liepa Foundation, SAV Entertainment and the Kremlin Ballet Company.
Artistic Direction Andris Liepa and Andrei Petrov.
The programme consisted of revivals of Mikhail Fokine's "Le Pavillon d'Armide" (1909) in a new choreography by Jurius Smoriginas, original set design by Alexandre Benois
reconstructed by Anna and Anatoly Nejny; Vaslav Nijinsky's "Prélude à l'Après-midi d'un Faune" (1912) in a staging by Andris Liepa, set design by Leon Bakst reconstructed by Anna Nejny;
Mikhail Fokine's "The Firebird" (1909), in a staging by Andris Liepa, set design by Alexander Golovin and Leon Bakst reconstructed by Anna and Anatoly Nejny.
Performed by the Kremlin Ballet Theatre company, with guest performances by Maria Alexandrova, Mikhail Lobukhin, Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Artem Yachmennikov (Bolshoi Ballet) and Irma Nioradze (Mariinsky Ballet).
