Maria Allash



Maria Allash was born in Moscow in 1976. She entered the Moscow Choreographic Academy in 1986 and studied with N.M. Savina, L.V.Dobrzhan and S.N. Golovkina. Upon graduation in 1994 she joined the Bolshoi Ballet.

At the Bolshoi Maria Allash has been working with Rimma Karelskaya, Marina Semyonova, Svetlana Adyrkhayeva, and Sofia Golovkina. Her regular coach is Tatiana Golikova.

She has been touring worldwide with the Bolshoi and was awarded the title of Merited Artist of Russia in 2002.

On January 19, 2007, following her performance of Nikiya in La Bayadère Maria Allash was promoted to principal dancer.
